Game mechanics

Formacar Action provides beginners and experienced racers with a variety of gameplay options.

Track
Competition on a variety of looped tracks with a time limit and a given number of laps.

The race involves up to 6 cars, starting at the same time.
The estimated race time is about 3-4 minutes. Collisions do not damage the car but simply reduce speed.
Leaving the track lengthens the lap time by the time it takes to get the car back on the road.

Sprint
Races from point A to point B on a variety of courses. Races can be single, double (with return), or straight.

The race involves up to 6 cars, starting at the same time.
The estimated race time is about 3-4 minutes.

Street racing will be added in future iterations of the game along with traffic, cameras, and traffic lights.

  • Road traffic complicates the gameplay by creating dynamic obstacles.
  • Speed cameras charge "fines" that are automatically deducted from the cash reward received for completing the race.
  • The traffic lights are also equipped with cameras.
  • In addition, cross traffic has been added, which throws players' cars back to the beginning of the intersection when they collide, causing them to lose time.

Drift
A game mode in which players must keep their cars drifting for as long as possible. The longer the drift, the more spectacular the angle, and the greater the total number of all drifts, the more game currency and experience the player gets.

Freeride
Mode for driving on special ranges with lots of special objects scattered around, and the ability to choose from several types of terrain.

Prizes are given out randomly in designated areas.

The point of this driving mode is just to have fun, try out different cars, improve your driving skills, and take part in Freeride races and other events.

In this mode, players have the following options:

  • Collect lootboxes that randomly appear on the map;
  • Communicate with other players via chat;
  • Complete tasks received from other players, such as giving someone a ride;
  • Complete randomly generated tasks;
  • Create gathering points (i.e., meetings) with other players or visit existing gathering points;
  • Mine tokens if you have enough fuel (mining is available only when driving at 20...60 km/h).
