Dog racing on the blockchain! DORAC – Short Review.
Players will experience daily races, tournaments, championships, quests, and other adventures in the DoRac metaverse.
DoRac is a dog racing metaverse with MMORPG elements. Players will be able to train and breed their virtual dogs, and most importantly, participate in dog races.
The daily races for the DRT inflation token involve 8 to 12 dogs and are limited to 20 races per dog in 24 hours. There are 3 modes in these races:
-
Breed races - dogs of the same breed can participate.
-
Untrained dog races.
-
Single level dog races.
The daily race for the DORC deflationary token begins after a fee is paid. The prize pool is formed from these fees. There are more modes here:
-
Regular race - any dogs can race.
-
Single level dog races.
-
Breed races.
-
Untrained dog races.
-
Custom lobby race - the lobby creator sets the race rules.
Tournaments in DORAC will take place every 15 days and last 10 hours. The tournaments will use a ticket system. Each ticket will be worth a certain number of BUSD or DORC tokens.
As long as the ticket is active, the player can participate in any number of races with any number of dogs. The top 3 in the leaderboards share the prize pool.
The championship will be held once every 91 days. Players will have a 2-hour window during which they can register their dog to participate.
The registration fee can be paid in BUSD or DORC. Players with at least 50 points on the tournament leaderboard will be allowed to register.
The project is currently in beta testing. You can download the game from the website, or go to the web version. At the moment, the marketplace is closed, but you can message the developers on Discord and get a test dog.
